Ibadan Chronicle 1

When Pa Adesina (Roland Snr.) in Ibadan acquired a PC sometime last year, some of the younger members of our family scoffed, saying, he is too old to become computer literate. But he proved them all wrong. He is now more knowledgeable and more adept with the PC than the new generation ones. Your Webmaster is not surprised because Pa Adesina was a Morse Code expert in his younger days when working for the Nigerian Posts and Telegraph. Accordingly, the transition from dot-dot-dash to dot-com presented no problem to him. The next stage is for Pa to go full Internet.

Grandma visited Ibadan in September and spent three days with the Adesinas - she was attending Unilevers Distributor's conference for the Western Zone, held at the Premier Hotel. We learnt that the conference was very successful in planning a new sales strategy for the company in Nigeria. But we were not told what the two Grandmas discussed. When asked, they said they just compared notes and praised the Lord for His blessings! So do we all!

Look out for more news on this page in the next update.
