Dear Family Members, Friends and Visitors,

HELLO. We have a new update for you again. After doing a good revision of the pages in the archive with regards to the validation of the Links, we made substantial new additions to the main site as listed here under:

OUR PHOTO GALLERY

Our Photo Gallery continues to grow. We now have five collections of thirty-five pictures. Collection 4 (A peep into the family album) has received new additions including pictures taken at the wedding of our niece, Bimbo Oloruntoba, (now Mrs. Bimbo Odi). Bimbo - a medical doctor - married Temi Odi, who is also a medical doctor.

OUR UNDER 18s FORUM

For our Under 18s Forum we have a new article from Moyin titled "The Netball Miracle."

WEB RING

Web Ring: Our site has joined the Unofficial LangaList Web Ring. The site was rated 100% by the Ring Master for its ease of navigation. We've also made new friends from LangaList readers and other WebRing members. Their comments are recorded in the Read these Comments pages. WebRings are good for attracting visitors.

COMPUTING FOR FUN

Computing for Fun section has a new article which you should read. It is titled “Enhance your email”. The article said in part: To have an email account is not enough. How do you use your email? Is it just for the casual communications with friends, family members and a few contacts here and there? Have you thought about the power of this facility and its great potentials as a social, business, and marketing tool? Here are some hints on how to enhance the power of your email usefully and profitably for personal and business communications.

ARTS AND CULTURE

In the Arts and Culture section we have a story titled “Festac 77 Mask”. Festac means 'Festival of Arts and Culture'. It was mainly a Black Africa event, and only two Festacs have been held so far. The first one in Senegal was in 1966 and the second and biggest was in Nigeria in 1977. The mask that symbolised the Nigerian event was recently donated to UNESCO by the Nigerian President. This story reveals the secret of the mask.

SEARCH THE WEB

In addition to AskJeeves, Yahoo Search and Google, we’ve added a fourth search tool to the Search the Web page - the popular Answers.com. That has made our Search the Web page more useful.

OUR FLASH BANNER

We’ve received pleasing comments on our "flash banner" reported in the last update. The Banner is running at the head of each page with an animation to catch attention. The maker of the banner is www.ezflashwizard.com. They provided a very friendly service. Try them first if you need an innovative flash for your website!

NIGERIAN RECIPE

Finally, we have a new Nigerian Recipe for you. It is one of our favourite titled Coconut Snacks and Elizabeth is expert in making it. Visit the archive to see the rest of her recipes on this website. Do try this new one out and give us your opinion.
