Cries at St, Catherine fair

By Moyin Oloruntoba

On the 17th March 2001 at St Catherine girl high school, there was a fair. The form A were contesting to be miss St Catherine. There were thirteen modules, eight judges and one DJ. The contestants were looking stunning, marvelous and excited. Firstly the contestants were wearing their swimming suits. We had some imitators.  We had eyewitnesses after the short break.  There names were Aausi Ntauleng and Thuto Sello. They both loved it.

After another short break they chose miss St Catherine as Thandi Manogoaha. The rest of the contestants started CRYING!!!!!!!  Some went to the toilet and cried a lot, some went to the classroom and cried and some stood in the hall and cried a lot.  We asked Lizzie and Clowe Brown about miss St Catherine they said that they were not very happy in the person they chose. They thought that the judges did not choose the contestants well. Almost all of the contestants were crying.
