Bunmi
(seen in the centre of
picture),
is our family artist. In this picture he is posing with the star artists of his
film "The Elevator", shot at the graduate school for Master of Fine Arts, USA.
He worked for The Guardian Newspapers for about a year (2000 - 20001 as an Editorial Cartoonist before going to the US. His cartoons at
The
Guardian were comments on contemporary Nigerian social, economic and political
scenes. Because they |
were very popular, The Guardian still publishes some of them as fillers. We show
here a selection of the published ones in
Reflections in Cartoons.
Bunmi also sends home, periodically, thoughtful and amusing letters dubbed "Letters from USA".
His latest letter is #17.
