We are all
familiar
with the yellow stickers used for sticking short reminder notes into our
books, on doors, on our fridges and even on the computer monitor.
Well, some one has helped us to replace those yellow notes on our PC
monitors with virtual stickers on our desktops.
The picture above tells the
whole story. It is the screen capture of the stickers I have placed on my desktop
to remind me of various tasks.
Now, go to the home page of the vendor and download a free copy. Although it
is free, the vendor will welcome your voluntary registration for $10 only. Find him at

Screen Capturing is
a common task you have to do when you want to save some of the images you
find in surfing the Internet. There are many types of screen capture
software there in the market, but a simple and free one we found very useful is
Gadwin
Print Screen. Some of our recent pictures in the Photo Gallery were captured
with this software. The illustration above (hostages taken by militants in
Nigeria oil field) is an example.
What I like about Gadwin is that
its icon can be made to reside on your tray and can be used instantly from
there to capture anything on your screen. In addition, Gadwin can be
automatically linked to any of your graphic editors for editing the captured
images. Find it at www.gadwin.com. |
