Africa
has always been seen as a continent with natural beauty and strength.
One thing
that stands Africans out is the variety of hairstyles available. For a
long time, unique hairstyles have continued to metamorphose from simple
forms to elegant masterpieces.
Some of
these hairstyles are made with beads and threads. It is done in a way
that every style not only has a name but also tells a story.
These
hairstyles have names like Orishabumi, Shade, Patewo and so many others.
We also have the Hausa and Fulani hairstyles. These hairstyles also
depict the tribe of the wearer and has a story about the origin of the
hair-do.
These
hairstyles were popular in the 50s and 60s. They are styles worn by
mothers and aged relatives. They were made during special occasions.
These
days, they have returned, though with some modifications. If you want to
look radiant this season, why don’t you go to your hairstylist and make
one of this hairstyles? |
