Guess I'm about to experience my first winter. I will be wearing those big shoes Bros Yinka got me. School is fine. I'm enjoying a kinda mid-term break right now. One of my instructors left for Tanzania to research a film the school is planning to make soon: so the last two classes have been "talks" with film directors and writers, invited to acquaint us with the business and harsh realities of Hollywood. Some weeks ago, Andrew Laszlo was here with the Kodak team for a seminar with all the film students. He was the director of cinematography on the first Rambo movie (Firstblood). I was trembling a little when he sat next to me - my first clash with Hollywood royalty!
The job is fine and America is getting back to normal. Jay Leno and Letterman are back on air and we are all laughing again. Its best to understand America as more of a business, than just a country. Even though everything has changed, "business must go on as usual".
