Moving Schools

By Moyin Oloruntoba

How many times have you moved to a new school? Well, this is my side of moving to new schools. When I was young about 6  years old, I came to Lesotho. I went to a school called Maseru Central. I schooled there for a year and a half. My parents did not like the standard of education but I thought, I would attend that school for a long time and even go to high school from there.

Next, I went to Maseru prep school. I really loved that school; I stayed there for two exciting years. In that school we even had a swimming pool sometimes we had fund raising, like in the Olympics they sold cupcakes and some juice. I also thought that I would attend the school for a long time and also go to their high school, Machabeng. But I went to yet ANOTHER SCHOOL!!!!!

My parents did not really like any of the schools. So my parents decided on HOME SCHOOLING!!!!! for a year and a half. Many people often ask me which school I went to and I tell them I was home schooling. Some people did not know what was home schooling, and some knew, but they were all surprised. So that is three schools!!! PLUS, I also schooled in Nigeria so that makes FOUR SCHOOLS. WOW.

Changing schools can be interesting, you see new schools, how they look, the way they teach. It is FUN.
