To use Google, click the icon and go! Fred Langa, in his standard edition of Langalist  Newsletter of 16 December, 2002 said, "Google just keeps getting better and better. First, it was merely the world's best search engine. Then it got a toolbar. Then it got the ability to search the huge amount of user-to-user info in Usenet news "groups," or to search just for images, or to search just news feeds, or to use it as a portal-like "directory service". Then Google added the Zeitgeist -"spirit of the time/moment"- that lets you see trends in what your fellow Googleoids are searching for."

Yahoo provides an interface for finding information, news, images, products, and local services. A recent article by ZDNet-India said "Yahoo has always been about adding human brains to computer algorithms, to create something more than either alone."  Now, Yahoo is pushing  to become the Web's top search engine again.
